They look brown-gandy to me.  Apparently, different runs of brown switches can have slighly different shades of brown, and these might be a little more red than other runs.

I'd believe black in a 0-9 keypad.

Burgundy? No way. I'm with itlnstln there - those switches are browns. Uncalibrated monitor, huh? :P

They are indeed brown. The monitor's I am using at the moment (Sadly not mine, but used to be, I am using them while the owner moves house), are certainly calibrated.
