I pride myself as a very efficient pooper, and secretly hold animosity towards my coworkers who spend too long in the can.

I have it down to a movement, if you'll pardon the term, I never spend more than 6 minutes in the bathroom.

6 minutes from trouser drop to hand wash - and that's a noisyturtle guarantee!

Ok Dad....

I am in the library for about 3-4 hours a day between classes (awful schedule) and there is a bathroom in the back that nobody uses. Its perfect. Locking door, single occupancy and the timing always works out.

It's apparently a thing at work where people have done the math that if you go into work and take a 10 minute poop to make a dime on company time that at the end of the year the 10 minutes=40hr paycheck.

I wonder if your name has anything to do with your bathroom habits.

to make a dime on company time

Personally, when I have to go it cuts into my efficiency. 60 minutes of poor work < 50 minutes of good work + 10 minutes of relief.

If you work as a programmer, sometimes you need to take a break from the keyboard to break up mental blocks you could get from staring too much at the code.
I find that my pooping times at work come to good use that way. I often think of the code while sitting on the john and come back to my desk refreshed and with a new approach to the problem I am working on.

I know I'm not the only one who does that. "bpiphany" got his username from it: "bathroom epiphanies".
