Title: HHKB Pro Bluetooth DIY

I am interested in doing this. It seems like there are multiple solutions to this. I have an original Pro, not a Pro2, so no USB hub hardware to work with. What can be done that doesn't require damaging the case/frame itself?
Not scared of solder work, just scared of damaging the HHKB unit itself.

I have a couple LG G4 batteries lying around which are in good shape, maybe I could use one of those for the BT battery if the voltage is the same.
