Title: Harvesting Matias Switches
Post by: s0nia on Sun, 29 January 2017, 14:56:45
Has anybody experience with harvesting the switches from a Matias keyboard? I've got a Matias hardwired Dvorak keyboard, and I either want to mod it into qwerty or harvest its switches to use elsewhere.

Right, I was just wondering if those who've done it already encountered anything particular to the Matias boards :)

Don't forget, you can simply buy Matias bulk switches from them. They aren't particularly expensive.

I'm about to desolder a V80 with matias quiet clicks.. i'll let you know if there are any differences but I dont expect there to be. At least not with the switches.

Haven't done it yet... I should be getting my new solder sucker tomorrow and will give it a go.
