Title: **FOUND**LF someone to hunt specific item at GameStop for me

Hey everyone.

So basically I have been collecting Funko Pint Size Heroes, the Steven Universe ones. I have found every single one except for a single GameStop(EB Games in Canada) exclusive. Sadly since release in December only one I've found a record of selling on eBay.

I am looking for anyone willing to check local GameStop inventory for me(able to check online) and head in to attempt to find the specific toy I need.

The difficult part is, they are in blind bags. Aka, you never know what's inside! Luckily, there are two ways to know what is inside these. One: feeling the shape of what's inside. Two: there's a small hole punch in the bags that you can sort of rearrange the toy inside to glimpse the color of what's inside!

The one I need is the clear blue one inside the black square. The characters name is Pearl.

The good part is, at GameStop there is only one version of Pearl. If you're good at feeling items blind, that's a bonus! Otherwise, it's all about trying to see if the toy inside is a clear blue.

I'm willing to buy any clear blue toy that's found, even if the one inside happens to be one of the others. There would only be three different clear blue types at GameStop.

As for compensation, ideally I would want pay $20 total for the toy. I believe retail they are $5~. I'll also pay shipping of course.


Please, any help would be great! The more people that are willing to try would mean the world to me.

If you go to their website and look for the product, you should be able to enter your zip code or such and see if a local store has stock.

I can try the semi-blind bag for this. I can also check WTS from some Funko groups. These retail at $4.99 or so? Originally I thought they were supposed to be $2.99-3.99.

Ebay might be your best bet as driving, spending time, praying you don't **** up looking through the peephole, etc may cost more than just paying slight aftermarket.

I can check when I'm around one.

I know for some blind bag toys there are certain numbers (which blend into the bag so you'd have to look carefully) which indicate which figure is inside; is that the case for this toy?

Yup, $5cad so probably $4usd?

Man, I've been checking eBay and every single toy has been up multiple times EXCEPT the one I need. Only saw one listing from early December at $15.

I have not seen any info regarding that.


Oh and I checked my only store here today ( cleaned out the toys weeks ago) and noticed on the newer power rangers one, no more hole punch to help find specific ones :\

ohmygosh these are so darn cute!

i was gonna stop by my gamestop to buy a controller ill keep an eye out for these. I might try to score some for myself too. Lion looks cute af.

Yeah so that is way harder than I thought. My store has a brand new case but I can't tell worth a **** what is what.

Pretty much all the holes were blocked by the paper inside. And many were wrapped with the paper which made it impossible to feel them. If anyone finds a code for them that would be able to reference, I can go back and surely find it.

At our local store we got lucky, they needed one for display so we opened several before paying and let them display a double and we bought the rest. Out of every one we felt and looked at, only once were we wrong. The guy didn't mind us putting the box on the counter and taking our time looking at every single one haha.

Ya man, I never thought the paper would make it such a challenge. Manipulating the figure to the small hole and keeping the paper away, not easy.


I may have to up the ante on this hunt.....like an artisan keycap....

I FOUND ONE!!!

A listing on eBay just went up with ten figures including the one I needed for $4 a figure. I didn't want so many doubles so I offered $15 for the Pearl. He immediately replied and listed it on its own. Such joy, such success!
