You should ask him if he can get all transparent housing!

That would be awesome. I wouldn't be surprised if Zeal has some kind of exclusivity deal on that though.

I believe Zeal owns the molds for the fully trans housings.

guaranteed not - the molds are just gateron molds hence it says gateron on the switch. he might have talked them into producing transparent bottoms only for him but i highly doubt they would honor that.

New to GBs so going to ask the dumb questions :p
But I'm guessing the £0.24 does not include shipping to our doors and this will be invoiced at a later stage?

Pretty confident I am right. Who else has fully trans switches apart from Zeal? I'm fairly certain he has even mentioned this in the early zealio threads, and the reason for the higher pricing. Also if you recall, MD was going to run a full trans gateron GB last year, but it was shut down after a few days.
Anyway I'm down for this, nice to have someone in the UK and a really good price too. I will be ordering 200 or so shortly =]

Thanks for the support! 250 switches ordered already, if you place yours you'll nearly double it.
What's the timeline on shipping these?
Will you be able show some pictures of the RGB top/white bottom?

This is an image sent to me by my supplier, it shows the housing well enough I think. note the small recess underneath the LED slot to allow a SMD LED to be on the switch side of the motherboard. I'm interested to get my hands on some because I want to see how well they actually allow light through on a PCB.
I'm going to be ordering about 1000 switches myself, I'm going to try to develop a small PCB that will allow all 14 switches to be on showing the use of both SMD LEDs and the traditional 2 pin LEDs as well as the 4 PIN RGB LEDs, all on one board so not only a switch tester but an LED tester too.
Very interesting, so the black bottom switches are the 'regular' switches and the white bottom switches are SMD compatible switches, is this correct?

Yep. ref: have RGB ones here, different types, all white bottom.
So are you shipping to the U.S.? If so, what is the cost per switch in U.S. dollar and how much is shipping?
I am no shipping to the US since I had a coupel of orders and didn't want to cancel an order on someone

Uhm, hmmm...so is that a yes or no? haha
It's now been 24 hours since the last order was placed. No one else interested?

I'm interested. Is it still possible to enter?

Yes! I won't close the group buy until Friday at 12. It may even be open a few extra hours because I won't finish work until 5pm and may not have time to close it properly on my lunch break.
Great! Enough time to finally make a decision.
that's $36 per 120 switch, that's actually $1 more expensive than pcgamingrace etc. what's the benefit? or rather what's the shipping cost in EU?
Since you're speaking of shipping, will it be tracked or not inside the EU ?

I'll offer the choice of tracked or untracked. Within the EU that would be about £4 untracked and £9 tracked for shipping up to 150 switches.
Already got my switches today! A lot faster than I expected.
