I'm going to put a couple Model Ms up on ebay. What's the best way to ship one?
I'm thinking of going to USPS and getting a few big priority boxes and the bubble envelopes. I'll have to cut up the boxes to make one big box. Wrap the bubble mailers around the keyboard and put them in the box.
Any idea what this would cost to mail from U.S. state to U.S. state? No international.

I just use flat rate game board boxes
Put the board in a garbage bag
Surround it in the box with whatever packing materials I have from my reckless monthly purchases
Total price is 18.00 something retail and 16.00 something Paypal

The US Post Office will give you large flat rate "game board" boxes, but you have to order them online, they don't keep them in brick and mortar POs.
The come in packs of 25 (so if you order "3" you will get 75) and are delivered to your front door in a few days.
They cost about $18 to ship anywhere in the US (I had an M delivered from Atlanta to Alaska in under 48 hours once, but don't count on it) and if you print postage through ebay/Paypal it is discounted to about $16.
Same box international goes for about $85.

Thanks. I didn't know about the other boxes. Only ordered envelopes from them.

The way I would post is is get a sheet of polystyrene to line the bottom and sides of the box, wrap the board in bubble wrap, then put it inside the box and put another bit of polystyrene on top. Those Ms are heavy and any amount of rattling around they could burst through if there isn't sufficient protection around the edges

No problem bud, should be a pretty easy process.
