It's been a more recent phenomenon with the SRW games. Though Japanese games (particularly ones that seem unlikely to be licensed for the West) have been getting more into English subs for the Asian release nowadays.

I believe you can call it the Hong Kong version, sure. I know Japan is it's own region and is separate from the Asia PSN region, so they have physical and digital games as Japanese region and Asia region. The Asian PSN is based out of Hong Kong, too, and that store is in full English, which makes navigation a lot easier for Westerners than the Japanese PSN store.

Yeah, it's been a trend to see more and more Japanese games have full English subs (with Japanese audio) for the Asian market release.

I have the Asian version of Gundam Breaker 3 for PS4, for example, and that's fully English subbed, which makes it perfectly playable for me.

Man, I wish I could just play video games but unfortunately you have to at least look like you are doing work here. As long as they never see my monitors...............
