Reminds me of the DEC LK101 (the VT100 keyboard, not the ****ty LK201 of the VT220 and later) Either way, probably some linear monstrosity.

that's not wasted space; that's experimenter's paradise. Plenty of room for extra switches, joystick, arcade buttons, trackball...

Serial keyboard. Hmm. I may have a driver for that. I once had a parallel-port keyboard.

I can't see myself using that as a daily driver. I can picture it however on my coffee table set up as a remote/kb for the DVR :lever:
