Title: Thermaltake eSports Challenger Ultimate | Multimedia keys wont work

Hey guys,

first of, let me just say what an awesome idea is to create a forum community dedicated particularly to keyboards.

now, i just got my new challenger ultimate keyboard.
i disabled the the keyboards audio jack so the volume keys will work and so they do.

my problem is that when i try to use the multimedia keys (backward, play, stop, foreword) they do not do anything.
i know they are active because whenever i try to press them, the green function icon appears.

the last version of the driver is installed.
i tried replacing the usb port.
when i enable the onboard audio jack, the multimedia keys still dont work.

i use windows 7.

any ideas?

Have you tested if they work with your media player as the active program (selected in the taskbar)? Foobar doesn't like to play nice with me some of the time when it's minimized.

hey, thanks for replying!
im using Winamp... could you please clarify on the subject? what does it mean "selected in the taskbar"?

In that screenshot Foobar is the selected program in the taskbar and Firefox isn't.

Have you enabled multimedia key support in Winamp? It's off by default in the newest version.

Options->Preferences->Global Hotkeys->Enable default MM key support
Ctrl+P shortcuts to preferences.
