Hi Everyone,

Young Engineer from Australia here. Started to be interested in MK's through a through reddit posts that leaked to the front page and have been following closely since.

Bought a DAS professional about 1.5 years ago now, and finally committed to my first 'step up' - a Red Scarf VIII with Jessica's recently released GMK Plum Set on the way.

I'm actually really interested in keycap design myself, and that's the reason i've joined Geekhack, to see what the core of the community likes and to base design around that.

Are there are parts of keycap design that the community thinks are overused, done, fed up with etc. Would love to hear it!

Just so you know, the Plum set hasn't released it. The Massdrop happening for it right now is just a GB and it won't release until later. Think of it like a pre-order, if you will.

But that is an excellent set to start of with.

Yea I know - have just made the purchase for when I see it in July :)
