I was wondering if anyone knows of MX HHKB plates that I can purchase for a custom build. I know LeandreN has some over at Mekanisk, but I was wondering if there are any in stock/with a 6.25u spacebar.
-
buy a universal plate and cut it
seems like an easier solution, no?
-
Well I just realized the reason the LeandreN plate comes with a 7u spacebar is because of the PCB spacing. I feel silly now.

Spacing? I though it was more like symmetry.
If anything else than 7u, you'd probably consider a 6u spacebar.

Well I meant more there isn't a PCB that can support the actual HHKB layout. Unless I'm wrong and the FaceW can. This is the layout in question:

Is there any way of figuring out if a FaceW will support this?

I gave my FaceW to a friend so I can't tell.
Although I can vouch for the Winkeyless.kr B.face X2 (http://winkeyless.kr/product/b-face-r-x2-pcb/) to support it.

Oh. Wow. Thanks for pointing this out. Do you know how I would get a plate for this?
EDIT: Also, where would I get a spacebar stab?

I use an MX HHKB and a HHKB Pro 2. I prefer the 7u spacebar on my MX HHKB. The real HHKB layout is off centered. It was hard for me to overcome at first haha

Most pcbs or plates that support 6u or 6.25u are off center.
The 7u is a centered spacebar.

Does it need to look like this?
