What are the base keys for the dvorak right handed layout http://www.dvorak-keyboards.com/right_and_left_hand_dvorak_keyboard_layouts.htm ?
thanks,

Looking at the layout, I'd guess EHTD (or maybe ERSD). Any other placement looks like it would reduce access to common characters.

The homerow keys your fingers start on should be AEHT (based on other one handed typing styles)
Why choose right hand dvorak over regular dvorak? The right hand version looks really annoying to use (despite freeing up a hand).

injured left hand. EHTD makes more sense to me. I don't need access to QZX like pretty much ever. I was even considering HTDC for a bit, but ended on practicing EHTD. getting to backspace is a bit tricky with EHTD though.

In the end, if I was going to type one handed I'd probably go with one side of an ergodox and use a function layer for half the keys. I still think AEHT is how you're supposed to type right handed dvorak because when you type qwerty one handed the home keys are FGHJ but in the end it doesn't matter what home keys you use if you can keep decent speed.
