Title: Greetings from Sweden!
Post by: No_gravitas on Mon, 06 March 2017, 03:46:14
Hi!

No real background in tech at all except the ****ty electronic systems i installed and maintain on my boat. I actually studied political science, philosophy at Lund university before i took the plunge and enrolled in lawschool, but hey, we write way too much so i guess it's a good hobby.

I got into keyboards when i took a year off from my studies and started working as a temp at a Swedish webbshop. I found a box of defect duckys which no one had bothered to send back for RMA so i rescued them and discovered that soldering is pretty fun. One thing led to another and i'm now a proud owner of a bunch of mechs and way too many spareparts.

For full disclosure i suppose it's relevant information that i still work in retail, i mainly handle support, SCO and some webbdesign but i also somehow managed to nestle my way into S&M so i have a couple of keyboard manufacturers "under my belt". I have to take some pride in the fact that i helped make some of the more "unusual" keyboards available to the sadly forgotten scandinavians.

The user is made for private purposes but if anyone one have a any questions regarding the company i work for or any products that we sell i will be happy to answer them, although i would prefer to handle that by PM or some other private channel since this isn't a marketing scheme, i would be really sad if people got the impression that i'm a shill.

Before anyone asks; i don't know if i have any dignitas, i dont think i have any pietas but you might be able to a little bit of virtus if you look hard enough. The username is a reference to Iain M. Banks excellent sci-fi series.

This was a bit rambling but i like rambling. If anyone one has any questions i will be glad to answer them!

/No Gravitas.

Welcome! There are quite a few Swedes that have registered throughout the years, although maybe only a handful are active.
