Title: OriginativeCo Linear Mod Switches
Post by: Wren on Thu, 09 March 2017, 15:26:06
Has anyone used/tried the linear versions of the l,M, or H? what's your experience and how do they compare to other linear switches?

This thread on the same topic (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=87809.0)

I think they're pretty new. Haven't heard anything super strong in either direction.

I'm thinking about giving them a try for a GH60 board I'm building. If I do I'll post about them if it'd be helpful.

I was thinking about the same thing. I need to rebuild my LZ, and it costs roughly the same for 70 MODs and 70 MX blacks.

I like the pink stems, too.

I feel like linear options have be covered extensively already, i'm actually surprised MOD thought of doing it. That being said, one might argue tactile had been covered too and MOD did a great job building something really really nice with their L/M/H tactile switch so who knows. I would like to see someone make a progressive spring option but i know its tough at that size.
