Tp4 has just finished popping the popcorn..
Walking upstairs with the unopened bag..
Then a late kernel popped in the bag,
---- Tp4 proceeds to yelp,
-----------dropped the bag,
-----------------and ran up the stairs behind the hallway for cover..
//Brave... [attachimg=1]
Think should probably go outside more, This is getting ridiculous..

Popcorn is mechanically problematic..
After you pop it, it becomes really big, approx 10:1 ratio in volume of the unpopped kernals..
This dramatically reduces the consumption efficiency. You're not eating alot of food. Yet, it's time consuming because you can't put that many popped popcorns in the mouth at one time..

Perhaps we require some sort of Re-Compression technique to get to a more reasonable 3:1 or 4:1

Got 23 unpopped kernals today..
This has been the worst ever..
My previous max was 17

And if they went off one by one it would sound like a machine gun.
Or fireworks.
Or just swallow the unpopped ones really quickly and see if they will pop in your stomach.

can't you just eat the popped kernels
then take the leftover unpopped kernels, put them aside
then the next time you have popcorn, do the same thing; add to the unpoppeds
eventually you will get a full serving of kernels

.....I don't even know what to say
how loud can a popcorn goes?
My faith in the church of tp4 is getting weaker by each post.

How about putting your popped kernels in a vacuum chamber, depressurize them, and then repressurize the chamber quickly. You could probably repeat the process a few times as well and should then achieve a bowl of shriveled kernels that will probably resemble eating tiny nougats of chewy skin, ha ha.
Most people have seen this process done with marshmallows but the same should work for popped corn, unless the matrix/structures that encompass the air pockets are more resilient and can withstand the forces of being repressurized while air re-permeates back into them..

Hrrrrrrrrrrrrm....
Tp4 doesn't own a vacuum chamber..
it's on my list of stuff to buy , right after Geiger counter.

I think a geiger counter (http://www.goldmine-elec-products.com/prodinfo.asp?number=C7026) would only fuel any paranoia you might have, I would push it further down the list.
