Finally, something for you guys who always wanted Cherry reds.
Ducky Limited Red+Black Edition (http://inpad.com.tw/goods.php?act=view&no=1344)
Inpad just implemented an online ordering system (haven't tried that yet) and some of the accessories (http://inpad.com.tw/goods.php?catId=18&markId=0&page=1) are really cheap too.
For example the Cherry keys (Blue/Brown/Black) and ALPs costs about USD$0.30 each.
One whole set of Cherry G80 replacement POM blank black keycaps costs USD$30.
Anyway, here are some pictures:

While they might not have all those yet, you do have The Keyboard Company (http://www.keyboardco.com/). You can check them out in the Vendor forum. I'm sure Bruce there can help you.
-
Leos, Great Britain based Keyboard Company (http://keyboardco.com) has most of the Filco lineup since recently. IIRC Bruce offered to get us special order items they don't stock normally. (is that true? I'm not entirely sure...)
-
Great Britain is not Europe, they dont have our money "€". At least they have keyboardco to offer us filcos. Yea Bruce is fine, amazing what he doing for us. I just say that we dont have a Company here or simply a Internet Shop who SPEAKS the language of other people.
Germans speaking people ~120.000.000 ,Italian ~80.000.000, French ~ 80.000.000 and others. Correct me if i forgot someones Language here.
BTW Keyboardco sould use a better Shop Software. Typo3, XTcommerce, Oscommerce are for free. At least with them anyone can read the Buttons in his Language.

What is the key rollover on these boards?
Edit : I checked the website and it seems they offer a N-Key version but I don't see the N-Key version with cherry reds.

FWIW, unless you are an uber gamer, or type 200 wpm, I doubt it matters much...

but i am an uber gamer i am! :)
plus i play streetfigter 4 on my kb {even though i have a hori arcade stick} >.>

2KRO, NKRO, I can't tell the difference unless I test it. For typing, it doesn't really matter. IBMs were some of the best keyboards ever made; they're 2KRO.
-
It's easy to tell the difference in Quake when you are mid strafe and you're keyboard beeps and you stop moving -_-

I think most people like to know they have NKRO. But the same people game well without NKRO keyboards too. Sometimes you have to bind stuff to keys you would not usually do. I notice no difference in gaming using an NKRO board (topre) vs non NKRO board (cherry MX 11800). I usually play counterstrike, left 4 dead 2 and team fortress.
-
Let's get back to the topic at hand... Has anyone figured out how to order this stuff yet? I am dying to get my hands on that blank Cherry keycap set and, maybe, the Ducky.

It's not something where you notice a difference such as refresh rate with a monitor or the hz your mouse polls at. If your board doesn't have a key rollover to support your commonly pressed key combos it will just not work.
If I use a keyboard without a >4 key rollover it makes a beeping noise and I stop in game. That's why I stopped using my steelseries 6G

Must be tedious to make these; desoldering all those red switches from Cherry keyboards.

Damnit! Someone figure out how to order these (and the Cherry caps).
-
This is from a different site, though. I was thinking that they might take international orders without having to go through a broker.
-
pm me 10days later, I will get one for u.
-
$584.00 dollars? Did I get the conversion right? I thought it might be pretty cool to try to get one also but If I got that right, :(
-
114 USD I thinkd.

Nope, the price on the website appears to be in Taiwanese dollars. So it works out to be around USD$125.

I just hook up a wired 360 controller if I wanna play games on the PC.

Ok, regarding on how to order, I'm not sure since they changed to a new online ordering system. Last time when I first got my blank otaku Cherry Brown MX Tenkeyless from Inpad, I asked my friend in TW to bank into their bank account, while MSN-ing the guy in charge (Mr. Kuo) to let him know I banked in with shipping included, of course!
After that, it was smooth sailing from there on until customs screwed up and requested me to go down to their warehouse at the airport to open the stuff up in front of them, as they couldn't read Chinese characters. Ugh.
On another note, man does it come with black-on-black (黑同刻) with additional white-on-black keycaps? Wow, may I know where to get those?
For the other folks, the one on the Inpad's website comes with laser-engraved keys and it's not NKRO I believe, since nothing was mentioned there. I'm not a huge fan of the reds though (although I have yet to try one, I really love clicks).
BTW, here's what I'd suggest.. (how I approached buying it from them last time)
1. Write an e-mail to inpad at hotmail dot com, indicating the stuff that you want to buy
2. Request a quote with your shipping address included
3. I think they do accept international money orders or Western Union (he asked me to use it last time, but I managed to get my friend to bank in to him in Taiwan)
4. Wait for your stuff to arrive.
Thanks.

Good stuff. Thanks for your help.
-
Did anyone ever order one of these?
-
Imsto was going to hook me up with a PayPal buy at one time, but I never followed back up with him. I might buy one if he can still do the PayPal thing after I sell my HHKB (on the 15th). I wanted the one with Cherry reds, but I might see if he has one with browns instead. I think the Soulhunter has one; I know he has the caps for sure.
