Title: HHKB JP bottom row
Post by: macguy80 on Tue, 14 March 2017, 01:47:29
Can someone explain what the extra keys in the bottom row do? The HHKB in particular labels them with symbols that I haven't seen on any other JIS keyboard.

I know the Kana key must allow Kana input (despite the fact that no Kana legends are included), but the other three symbols are a mystery.

Thanks!

The keys around spacebar are "henkan" and "muhenkan", typical for Japanese layout.

The diamond is Meta (Super/Win).

I can't recall what the HH key does.
