Title: Smart68 recognized, not migrated? Keyboard bricked? help please
Post by: arhetue on Fri, 24 March 2017, 11:15:21
Just got a Smart68, installed zealios and the board does not work.

It shows up in my device manager on win10. There is yellow error sign on it:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)
One byte was expected in the report descriptor but not found.

Then in the events - Device not migrated:
Device USB\VID_444C&PID_6868&MI_00\7&6341620&0&0000 could not be migrated.
Last Device Instance Id: USB\VID_099A&PID_2515&MI_00\8&dcc0b41&0&0000
Class Guid: {745A17A0-74D3-11D0-B6FE-00A0C90F57DA}
Location Path:
Migration Rank: 0xF000FFFF0000F120
Present: false
Status: 0xC0000719

I have tried multiple cords, and multiple computers to no avail.

I took it apart and all the zealios were correctly installed - I did have one small nick on the pcb - not sure if this would cause issues? http://imgur.com/ChjASeG

No I have not, I am new to any of this so I am not sure how to go about doing that.

I followed the steps here to reflash the firmware, and Smart698 is listed as one of the options in TMK so I used the default firmware - successfully entered. https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=66624.150

None of the keys register. Here is the error I am getting:

Device HID\VID_046D&PID_C52B&MI_00\9&13b3e114&0&0000 could not be migrated.

Last Device Instance Id: HID\VID_04D9&PID_0169&MI_00\8&1448B7E6&0&0000 Class Guid: {4D36E96B-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} Location Path: Migration Rank: 0xF000F000FFFFF100 Present: false Status: 0xC0000451

Any thoughts?
