Title: Best source for finding Blue Alps?
Post by: IBMPCDOS5 on Sun, 26 March 2017, 21:00:27
So, I have been scouring my local thrift stores for months to find a mechanical keyboard to no avail. The closest I could find was a BTC 51xx DwS.  Is there any specific model that has the highest chance of finding the thick bassy Blue Alps I've been craving for a long time? Thanks!

It took me 2 years to get a blue Alps keyboard. The most common and reliable source is the Leading Edge 2014. Prices have typically been in the low-mid-$100 range in recent years, but of course you might get lucky and find something at a fraction of that.

Tao bao or whatever it is often has cheap dirty ones if you van figure out how to order them.

The Leading Edge 2014 is the only one I've found in person. You might want to try recycled electronics stores rather than thrift stores.
