Hi,
I'm looking for nothing atm
-
Hey,
I got a spare set of blank black caps, they are in nearly perfect condition though.
How much did you plan to pay for a set in bad condition? :D
-
It's pretty hard to make the hhkb keys go shiny, they're from high quality pbt. ;)

nearly perfect condition though.
That sounds horrible :))

Wasn't really planning ... the cheaper the better, but I'm open to offers.
How much for your set?
-
I saw the usual prices go up to 80$, but if I remember right, I payed about 50 for my current set (of printed BoW though).
So how about 50€ shipped for the blank black set?

Yeah, 50€shipped is what I paid for my white sets in good condition.
Was hoping to get a cheaper set. I'll have to think about it.

I don't think HHKB caps can actually get irreversibly shiny.
Yes, they can certainly get shiny, mine did, but it is possible to wash them and they look like new again, unlike ABS.
They can wear out too, but only after very prolonged use, something like 10-15 years I'd say.
However, people sometimes miss the key and scratch the sidewall of the keycap with their nails. Most of the old PBT keycaps have these scratches, and this is probably what we can call "bad condition" in PBT world.

Used sets don't pop up all that often, especially full sets as people typically just swap alphas or mods. I'd just go the eBay route from Japan. Can't beat the price for a new set.
