Title: First post - thanks to you all!

Hey everyone --

My name is Mike and this is my first post here at Geekhack.  I recently bought a new computer and wanted the perfect keyboard to go with it.  My research began with the typical rubber dome varieties, but eventually Google led me here, and I must say that the information on this site has been eye-opening and extremely helpful!  Thanks to you all for contributing.

I ended up purchasing a Filco Tenkeyless with Cherry Browns and I absolutely love it - it's bar none the best keyboard I've ever used.  I had no idea what I was missing until it arrived today!

Congrats on the new board.  Great choice.  Consider the orthodontist rubber band dampening modification for your board if you want to try it, I have some rubber bands on order for just this reason.

Thanks so much!  With every key press, I love this thing more and more.

I'm very much a newbie to the world of customizing and modifying my gear, but duly noted on the recommendation and I'll be sure to do a bunch of research on here to see if there's any other cool stuff I can/should try.
