1) They deliver for $15 / month to your doorstep
2) Less wear and tear on your vehicle
3) Less gas money
4) Chances are the vegetables at your grocery store are not as fresh nor do they have to endure the rigorous QC checks that Amazon Fresh does, I've confirmed this.
5) You don't have to remember to bring those stupid grocery bags when you go shopping
6) You don't have to leave your house
7) SAVES TIME = MORE DIABLO PLAYTIME
Math equation for reinforcement: Store Trips / Amazon Fresh Purchases = Less Time Spent Shopping + Points on Amazon Credit Card + Healthier life due to better vegetables
:D
Welcome to the future gentlemen, all i need is one those driverless ubers to take me to work now and I'm set.

It costs significantly more than buying in-store. The prices are adjusted to be a percentage more (like bananas in-store might be 1.10 but on Amazon they cost 1.60)
You don't get to make calls on alt items when they are out of the thing you want.
The amount of brands and products available is about 1/3rd of what is available in the store.
You cannot use coupons.
The produce argument is retarded. What is available in-store is not only fresher, but you can look at and choose which one you specifically want.
In-store shopping beats online delivery like 75% of the time imo
All that being said - I still have Safeway deliver my groceries every week because I'm lazy and tired and have no vehicle.

OK, here's an idea for a new app.. Food Unfresh filter..
For example.. if you take pictures of leafy greens,
You click on leafy greens, then click apply, then it would add yellow tone to the leaves, making it look unfresh..
Then it automatically interacts with the amazon api, submits the photo and requests a refund..
The app will be named, Free Kale..
/hahahahahahhaha

it's not a monetary issue, I never got a driver's license so I have to go to some school so I can use their car to take the test and I've got to take a written and driver's test. It's a whole to-do I don't really have a week's worth of time to dedicate to in my adult life.

And that's why you have the unhappiness. No road trips!

More reasons to never leave the house. Great.

I live 4 minutes walk from a big supermarket :P

I live 4 minutes walk from a big supermarket :P
Complex Math Equation to break it down:
4 minutes there + 4 minutes back = 8 minutes travel time + preparation to leave the house (clothes, socks, shoes, sunglasses, wallet), so 15 minutes of travel time + finding your items and paying for them = ~15-20 minutes (18 minutes average) = 18+15 = 33 minutes of time away from the COMPUTER. Chances the veggies aren't fresh like "guaranteed fresh" on AMAZON FRESH :)

Yea, if you build your whole life around convenience, ASSUMING you are capable of Utilizing your saved time for -profit- instead of playing Firembrum like TP4, then it actually does save you money..

I never have any clue what I'm going to buy when I walk into a grocery store, so trying to make that decision online would be an excruciating and time consuming experience.

That's easy..
Only go food shopping when you're hungry;.
Let nature tell you what you need..
Jusssss keep in mind.. Icecream can make up a maximum of 2 meals per day.
-
I prefer the local farmer's market.
Fresher than Amazon, cheaper too.
I've confirmed this.

Produce without being able to look at it in person and choose the freshest/best ones, or adapt and buy something else if what they have of a particular vegetable doesn't look that great? No thanks.

Still sucks when you're planning on making something and now you can't.
TBH this is a big part of why we only tried it out for the one month. I just didn't care for the produce. It wasn't awful or anything, but I know for sure I could have picked better things if I had them in front of me.
Not only that, but everything was 20-50% more expensive. I live 3 minutes from several stores, and no more than 10 from pretty much anything you could imagine. Just not at all worth it in my case.
For someone who doesn't have easy access to a wide variety of local groceries it would might be good, though.
Or people who just don't care that much, I guess.
