Title: Greetings from the Tri-state area
Post by: lzrdwzrd on Tue, 04 April 2017, 13:20:51
Hey,

So I've had my 6gV2 for ages and love it, however after recently getting into the i3 window manager in GNU/Linux I found that I needed a Win or Super key in place of that pesky steel-series key.
Thought i'd just grab a new keyboard.. quick and easy... started researching a bit.... found Geekhack... \(`0´)/

Now I've been through a few pok3r's, HHKB p2, and a couple other random boards  :-\. Finally settled on a FC660C as the new daily driver.

Oh also now have 3 different sets of switches, cases, multiple keycap sets, plates, lubes on order... I think I need a sponsor now and some daily meetings.

You'll have to submit a sponsor me tape if you want to be sponsored.. ;)

Welcome, my current daily is Manjaro i3. One day I'll migrate to Arch/i3wm but I'm afraid I'll need at least ten keyboards just to keep up with the window manager :))

hah, yeah I love the arch way of things. Running Parabola on my laptop and Debian testing (stretch) on my desktop. I'll switch between XFCE or i3gaps depending on what I am doing.
Love Manjaro's installer.
Thx for the Welcome.

Because of your OP I finally installed Arch in a VM. I tried XFCE, Gnome, i3, and LXDE; so far Gnome and i3 are my favorites. I read a little about Parabola GNU/Linux-libre. Sounds amazing from what I've read.
