I don't believe they do. If I remember correctly, the type s has a travel distance of 3.8mm while silenced realforces maintain the 4mm. So I believe that the type s sliders are the same as the regular topre slider but with the added foam.

I think there have been posts showing them with longer sliders as well...
This was already discussed and the Type S sliders are proven to be longer.Show Image(https://geekhack.org/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=86554.0;attach=156535;image)

Wait, what? I thought it was the purple sliders that are longer?

They are..the purple sliders are on a RF...the HHKB Type-S, at least in many versions of it, use a similar longer slider that is black.
Oh wow guess the type s sliders are longer. Now we need to get all 3 in one picture.Any chance we can get an update on this? And if possible, could you post a comparison of the HHKB Type-S slider vs. the Realforce purple slider with both of them having their rings on? I (and I imagine many others) would greatly appreciate it.
I have sourced all the sliders and will have an album in a week or so. Hopefully.
I've got an HHKB Type-S that was manufactured in January of this year, and it's key travel is noticeably less than my purple slider RealForce 104U. So for full key travel with a stock silenced board, purple sliders are a must. If there is a special black type-s slider, I don't know why it wasn't made to provide the full 4.0 mm stroke. Why else would they bother making a different version if not for keeping the standard 4.0 mm stroke?
