I need a good ps2 to usb adapter for an old keyboard.
I've read that bluecube is the best https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=9351.0
but I need something with a small head thanks to the tight spaces between my usb ports. Head must be as small and flat as possible otherwise I cannot stick my other usb devices.
would love to hear who has any good suggestions. I have gone through a bunch of Chinese cheap devices and they simply aren't reliable enough. Sometimes I get a bunch of keys repeated likkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkke this or else
returns endlessly.

What about a blue cube combined with something like this (http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-2-0-Mini-A-Male-to-Female-Extension-Cable-Cord-A-A-M-F-3-FT-3-/300774292269)?

I do have extension cords, but really not keen. I mean, I'm already connecting an old Ps2 keyboard to a ps2 to usb converter, and now I still have to use another cable. Doesn't that just increase the chances of signals screwing up?
What horrifies me most, is if I go away from my computer, and five minutes later return to see the system messed up because the keyboard was sending trillions of keypresses in my absence.

I've used this one http://amznly.com/3kc (http://amznly.com/3kc) with an AT101W with success.
I recommend a 1-2 inch USB extender for the fit problem.
