I wanted to make this since I got my first 60%. It's a work in progress but now I just need to to glue or screw it together and do a nice finish to it. It's solid rosewood slab from a luthier so the grain is nice and straight.
EDIT : Warning, this PCB has no holes or possibilities to drill for stabilizers!

EDIT :
After sanding with 180 grit, then 400 grit :

A luthier?! You do mean a person who makes instruments?
The wood goes well with the red pcb! And the keycaps are rather nice :)
-
Yes a luthier, I bought slabs of rosewood grade A, intended to make guitar fretboard ^^
I almost choose ebony, but price is double and it's hard as a rock !
Thanks, I will clean this up and make it shine

Curious, what keycaps and what pcb did you use?
-
Keycaps are doubleshot GMK from Weytec keyboard, and the PCB comes from aliexpress https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/PCB-Board-For-17-keys-Cherry-Kailh-Gateron-Mechanical-Keyboard-Num-Pad-Numeric-Area-For-Shaft/32515524182.html?spm=2114.06020208.0.0.Acnbfy

Today I did a sanding session. It was very time consuming but the result speak for itself !

Beautiful. Have you thought to round the edges with a router?
-
Really nice job with the wood. Like, insanely good. Damn.

:) I never seen or used one, though I would love to have access to one!

Thanks a bunch, I just used a sheet of sanding paper stuck to an old plywood plank!
