Went on a pretty long hike today.. I was getting a bit worn out by the end.. but it is good, my wife and I have been trying to hike /do my outdoors activities..

well yes if you go hiking it is best to have people with you.. should you fall into teh sink holes or whatever..

also if you see a sink hole.. don't make eye contact , remain calm and try to assert that you are not a threat nor threatened by the sink hole.... oh wait that is if you encounter a loose dog... i get them mixed up sometimes...

I am sure the Kafka comment is relating to a book/author but I choose to understand it as a Final Fantasy reference.

Cool pics! And I completely agree - there are so many health benefits from just being outside in the sun for 10 minutes/day: Vit.D, inhibition of pineal gland (gives you energy). Add in some exercise and you have a recipe for success!
What part of the country are you from? I'm also a fan of being outdoor and hiking, just wish I had more time to do it.

my wife and I have been trying to make more time for this kinda thing.. we went on a hike last sunday also.. and have been trying to get out and walk in the evenings as well.

I go outside plenty, my wife makes sure of that.
Whether it's walking the dogs or just sitting outside for a couple minutes having a conversation she always finds a way to get me to go outside. Damn her.

There's an amazing amount of diverse and awesome outdoors all the way around LA. The mountains are underrated. I was in the angeles national forest near Santa Clarita a couple weeks ago.

IDK man... atmospheric anisotropy could use a little boost.. I still see lots of aliasing in smoke .. The dark night time scenes could use a higher color pallet to preserve shadow detail

Volumetric smoke is done quite well - there's almost no dithering.
