Title: Question for people of Indian/Hindi decent

Today I had to email someone in another office and noticed there are like 100 people named Talwinder Singh working for my company. Is this just an extremely common name, or is it like a title for people from a specific caste? It got me really curious.

Well the name indicates that the bearer is a Sikh.

Also, you're looking at the first two names of these people. You need the third one to distinguish them.
