Looking to build a custom 60% and interested in using some real heavy switches. I prefer a tactile switch but not a clicky switch

Well once you go past a certain weight the tactility lessens.

Cherry MX Tactile Grey

However as with most tactile switches, extra stiff springs can make the tactile bump feel non-existant, and MX greys are not all that tactile to begin with.

Cherry MX Tactile Greys are a bit heavier than Clears (I don't remember the exact weight), and are available on Mechanicalkeyboards.com, for ~$45 plus shipping for 70 switches. You could also buy some switches and a bag of 180g springs from Switchtop for cheaper, but you'll have to swap the springs yourself.

I've seen some heavy Zelios, whats the story on those?

78g is the heaviest Zealio. I have modded my zealios to 135g alphas, 120g mods and 150g space and esc on my CPSQ. It is nice for typing but fatiguing for gaming.

Outemu blacks are pretty heavy, definitely not the heaviest though. I saw just get any kind of switch you want and add super heavy Korean springs.

Do you type with that much force? I know everybody has preferences... but 120 freaking grams for a keypress???
