I never look at the classifieds so even though I posted it there I'm putting it here as well. I'm including my compact 1 keyboard which I think is the best layout ever even though the feel is not that great haha.

That's interesting, I never knew they ported NeXTStep to computers other than the NeXT Cube...

I'm almost positive I have an x86 port on a disk somewhere...either that or not so much a port but a clone.

Airplane mod, down is up :plane:

there is NextStep for Next, SPARC, PA-RISC and x86. PA-RISC is the best (computers are the fastest) if I'm not mistaken but are much much rarer than the others.

Despite Sun(Oracle) disowning these machines...

I could never take HP seriously as anything other than a printer maker. The fact that I once saw a video of a HP-UX machine from the late eighties that had a printer built into the body reinforced this...

Sun Rescue? Sounds almost like a home for abandoned puppies.
-
You know, someone switched around the arrow keys in that keyboard you're auctioning.
-
Australian layout.

I have always liked the font on the Sun keyboards. In fact, they're pretty nice in general. It's a shame they weren't mechanical.

I figured it came from the server room at Texas A&M.
The Texans here will appreciate that... or not.
