Title: Would you have to claim a genie wish on your tax return?
Post by: noisyturtle on Mon, 01 May 2017, 03:16:06
As if you wished for 100 trillion dollars, would you need to file for that, and if so how? How would you deposit that if it were cash?

Going with Australia rules, going to comapre it to winning sums of money so if your were Australian i believe it would be tax exempt.

US rules... yes and then they would declare it procedes of crime and take all your genie earnings away from you to fund secret CIA narco operations to further fund black projects...

You wouldn't have to if your wish was worded correctly. I would hire a good lawyer pre-wish to draft a solid wish for me in writing that has no loopholes. I would then read it verbatim to said genie.
