Title: Possibly stupid question about GH60 (Satan) PCB
Post by: only1gc on Mon, 01 May 2017, 10:34:53
Hey guys,
I bought a GH60 Satan off aliexpress preassembled but it was faulty so I got a new PCB sent to me.

The original one had a reset button to enter bootloader mode but the new PCB has 2 dip switches where the reset button used to be.

What do the dip switches do? Which PCB is newer edition? Thanks!

Ask the seller you bought it from?

The one with the dip switches is a newer version of the KC60 and quite frankly sucks. The new version you have has no bootloader button because the layout is fixed and the 2 dip switches toggle certain keys on and off (split backspace and split right shift).I think the only way to flash it is to use the ISP port on board but I could be wrong. I would ask for the original GH60 Satan you have and if you cannot get one from the same seller there are plenty of places online to get one for around $25 or less.
