I might be in the wrong section, if so I apologize. I'm now up to 3 keyboards (soon 5) and I want to swap between them. Was thinking some sort of extension or hub mounted towards the back edge of my desk would be perfect but I worry that it could introduce lag or anything like that, is that a valid concern? I'm almost thinking about making a DIY extension box sine i'd also want one for PS2 since I have a Model M I like to break out every once in a while.
Most out right extensions with bases are angled straight up, i'd need it to point forward.

I use a cheap thing with USB 3.0 and audio ports and I experience zero lag with audio, my trackball and my kbd.
Hubs that point forward are like this (https://www.amazon.it/AUKEY-SuperSpeed-Alluminio-Computer-Portatile/dp/B00KNMK1CC/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1493814370&sr=8-5&keywords=usb+hub) one, but I haven't seen one with a PS2 port around. Aukey hubs have short cables so naturally you would need an extension.
