Title: No Topre at 2017 Computex
Post by: shadowku on Mon, 15 May 2017, 15:37:54
I've been monitoring the vendor list at this year's Computex because I'm anxious to see if Topre announces anything new this year. I was quite thrilled about the RF RGB and I'm just waiting for a TKL version (hopefully with detach chord and the same dip-switch config as the RU87).

Topre was on the vendor list for a while but they did not appear on the floor map until some time recently when they were removed altogether from the event. I guess that means they won't be announcing anything at Computex this year?

Me big sad.

They will, but you have to pay $200 to find out what it is.  :?D

Since we're fantasizing here: I'd like to see a 60% version of the RF RGB. Minus the RGB. In both black and white cases.

I would love to see something more exotic like a 75%

Although I love the FC660C and the Realforce 87U, I want a keyboard with the F-keys and more compact than a TKL.

What about this prototype http://i.imgur.com/5ReYq.jpg ?

I'm pretty sure that Topre is going to show us a TKL version of the Realforce RGB during the 2017 computex

I would like a standard 60% Topre.  :( HHKB, while great, doesn't have a standard layout, and the FC660C, also great, just looks bad on the right side.

The Leopold FC660C (Grey) with the white HHKB keycaps is very appealing to me  :thumb:

One can only hope they're actually going to be there.. but as it stands.. the map doesn't have their name on it =P
If there is a RF RGB with mx-sliders, I'm getting it.

Huh? You can buy one right now. They've been available since last November.
