I used to have a guy to ask about this stuff..
But uh.. well... he died..... NO, Tp4 didn't kill nobody..
Anyway, has anyone shopped/ compared any of them ~$300 digital pianos?
I just want something for the upstairs w/ a pc connection. I already own a regular piano downstairs
Now, as far as playing style.. I guess I could reasonably say, I use at least 7 distinct levels of loudness when going over any music.
I don't see any specs on the sensors if they're all calibrated or retuneable for a gradient of some sort.. or if this is something outside of $300

I use roli seaboard rise 25. About $500 used. I am thinking about OP-1 for more practical use.

tp4 with piano?
Tp4 am OLD..
Older guys had pianos..
All the super hip kids have guitars these days.
Tp4 gave up on guitar after 3 weeks, realizing that it's among the least ergonomic instruments.. hahahaha.. Not as bad as violin, but still pretty bad..

Just get an old Casio
^^ This. I have had many keyboards and my favorite was an old casio. I would run it through my pedal board and bass amp. I gave it to my little sister and have regretted it ever since. I would rather have pedals and what not to get my effects than just to run it MIDI into my computer.

Just the name that comes to mind, I've seen lots of people with them. Also, casiotone for the painfully alone.

I'm assuming you're looking for weighted piano keys...
But if you're connecting it to a computer and don't need it to have internal piano sounds, you can get MIDI keyboards for very low price.
Else, I'd get either a Yamaha (though a bit pricey) or a Casio. Both have good key feel, though the sound bank of the Yamahas is generally very good (again, not relevant if you're using it as a MIDI keyboard connected to a computer and using plugins).
