Title: Seeking a Macro Keyboard
Post by: TheRavenDog on Mon, 22 May 2017, 18:22:33
I'm looking for a Macro keyboard with the following features:
- USB interface
- Matrix layout
- Re-lengendable keycaps
- At least 20 keys
- Individual LED per key
- Host API to control each key's LED
- ~100 US$.

Ironically, the IBM LPFK comes close to meeting my requirements, but I need to purchase about 10 of them.

Even a numeric keypad with ~20 keys would suffice.

Any ideas?

That's a tough one.  I remember a thread from a couple years ago regarding macros.  Maybe you can find some useful tidbits in it:

Cluepad meets most of your requirements. Assembly required though.

Take a look at xkeys.com.  They might have something suitable.

Hi, I've got a Model M 50 key POS that I've Soarer converted with blank clear keycaps. Only thing missing is per key LED, but it's fully programmable. It's also matrix layout. Do PM me if you're interested!
