What even I would call a great deal on a rare board with accessories...
Though it's probably worth noting that these are known to have reliability/longevity issues.
-
XsPhat said they don't really feel that great, either. IIRC, these use some variation of dampened ALPS.

I remember them using a version of the weird Alps switch I discovered in a detachable 386 laptop number pad.
Kind of comparable to brown Cherry switches, actually. Bit stiffer on the tactile point.

If that's the case, I'm getting tempted.

Keep in mind that comparison is based on ONE SINGLE brown Cherry switch that I have. I don't have a whole board of them.
The tactile point on the switches in my 386 laptop numpad is light but defined. There's not really a "snap" sensation like simplified white Alps.

For that price you could get it cheaper on Yahoo Japan here (http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e101770437) currently sitting at 1 yen with 2 1/2 days left to go and of course at that price it does have one bid. it also includes the mouse as well.

For that price it should be NIB.
