Title: Where to get Cherry MX Clears?
Post by: Vox on Sat, 10 June 2017, 22:01:28
Hello! I am working on making my first keyboard using the Sentraq S60-X kit. I want to get cherry mx clears and use tactile greys for the spacebar and a couple other keys but I am having trouble finding a place that has clears in stock. Does anyone here know of anyplace that has them? Thanks!

You can get them here (https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_list&c=58), a bit expensive, but it is a store with good track record and has them in stock.

There are other sources like the classifieds and overseas vendors, but you will need to do your own research and run with some risks.

Those are out of stock.

They aren't that expensive though so long as you buy at least 100. :D

yeah, as I said. I can't find them anywhere. I think I might have to settle on a different switch. Any suggestions on something similar?

I found them on DigiKey. Anyone have any experience with them? I'm not questioning their legitimacy but Customer Support and shipping time is unknown.

Do they need to be new?  heroinbob used to sell harvested cherry switches.  You could check with him to see what he has in stock at the moment

No response to my PM.
So I'll try here. I have new, unused MX clears.

Thanks. I'll probably default to them if I don't get the switches anywhere else

Yep, skiwithpete also live streams new product demos. I've never met the guy but he legitimately seems to be a decent dude
