Title: Has anyone bought new Topre keycaps from KBDfans?

Only two colours so far and no mods but its exciting to have actual choices.

Well I just got some. They feel nice but have a distinctive higher pitched and louder sound on the upstroke than the stock caps. Its weird, I wonder why. They're practically the same thickness.

looking at the product photos (specifically the underneath comparison), it looks like the PFU caps are slightly thicker (and more uniform) all around. the kbd caps might be light enough to change the pitch that much

i have a set. i like them. but my board has purple rf sliders so i dont have the upstroke pitch as much.

Material matters just as much as thickness, could be a less dense mix.

I bought enough for an arrow cluster last week but have not received them.
