Eyeing rise of tomb raider and doom pretty hard rn
29 items from your Steam wishlist are on sale!
Sales used to offer 60-80% off and have flash sales. This 30% bull**** is very underwhelming. And they don't even bother w/ special events anymore because Valve knows people will spend money regardless. This is a disappointing sale at best.

My thought is to just buy one game I will play because by the time I finish this game, it will be Autumn sales again and the other games I am eyeing will be even cheaper. As such, I snagged GTA:V. That should last me till Autumn.

Don't you guys have key sites you can purchase keys from?
I never buy a game at full price anymore, I'm too cheap for that nowadays.
Any thing for Euro Truck Simulator? Best game ever.
I also picked up a non-game software called Wallpaper Engine. This makes so much sense and it's fun to have animated wallpaper to brighten up the monitor.
I used to buy through G2A but after hearing about how most of the codes are sourced (scamming people, impersonating youtubers etc) I just buy straight through Steam if it's digital, or eBay if it's physical. I don't play many games, so it's not much of a problem.

I wish. I almost bought all the good DLC last month because I went on a bit of a tricky truck binge. Glad I didn't.

I bought from G2A twice, both times, the keys didn't work.. I got my money back after A MONTH on each.
The price is low enough such that I'd still consider buying from them, But this is very much the Street level heroin dealer..

I was debating buying some DLCs before the sale, and this recent sale basically sealed the deal for me. Plenty of great sales for ETS2. I bought all the map expansions, cargo expansions, and a couple other items for only $25. I'm sure that I'm binge on some paint jobs later in the week.

Interesting, I've bought a bunch of keys from there and Kinguin and never had problems with either. YMMV, I guess.
And while there are definitely times where the keys on these sites are sourced illegitimately, I feel like the accusation is likely overblown. If you compare Steam prices across different countries you will find that keys can often be bought for dirt cheap in some Eastern European, South American or Asian countries. The prices on these sites typically reflect that lowest cost +10% or so.
It seems to me like a few high profile cases where the keys were sourced through a scam of some kind have served to try to ruin the whole thing.

I freaking love ETS. It's baffling, honestly, because at face value it seems like such an strange concept for a game. But I tried the original at a friends house awhile back and was hooked. Such an oddly enjoyable experience.
The appeal of ETS2 is one of the great mysteries of the 21st century. You're telling me that I'm going to enjoy deliver cargo trailers while obeying traffic laws? What the hell is this nonsense?
It's the middle of winter down here, but I'll roll with a summer sale.
Where can I buy more time to play the games I already have?

Hahahahaha
As we move forward as a species.
We need to be more realistic about our economic organization
1... There's no such thing as Ownership
___ Anything larger in mass than you are USES YOU, not the other way around..
___ Do you own your own company of 1000 people, NO, the company OWNS YOU...
___ Are you the King of the Palace, No, the Palace is its own King, you're a janitor feeding and rebuilding the palace.
2... Collecting power and control is more poisonous to personal health than whatever material benefit it brings.
___ Let computers handle the macro decisions.. Humans are animals which eat sleep frolic, tighten a bolt here n there.
3... Life span is ALWAYS spent, it can not be accrued at the personal level, stop killing yourself and others over something that can not be possessed.
___ You're making yourself sick. STOP..
I do feel owned by the stuff I own. Maybe it's time to return to minimalism.
Instead, they're whatever their day job is, + a janitor when they get home.
steam summer sale was awesome couple years ago, now its mehAGREED!
I always stick to one or two games during each sale. Then I try and finish them. By that time, Autumn sales will be here and whatever other games I have on my wish list will be slightly cheaper.. sort of.
I do feel owned by the stuff I own. Maybe it's time to return to minimalism.
I see all these middle class peeps around me, they spend so much time on upkeep of their medium sized homes, they may as well become professional janitors,
Instead, they're whatever their day job is, + a janitor when they get home.
Minimalism is actually a function of privilege, because you can afford enough stuff that you can choose to get rid of it and live a simpler lifestyle.
But yea, your stuff can end up owning you.

Even in that respect, I believe the PERCEIVED necessary quantity / variety of -Stuff- is greatly inflated.
Humans need water, food, a roof, a bed, and a toilet.
But modernity has extended all requisites of Life into Gildings. Whereby the FORM usurps function to appease the senses for pleasure.
Hedonism is the downfall of every empire, be it personal, or vast nations..
It is characterized by the pursuit of pleasure for pleasure's sake..
We've got keyboards, it works, Move the hell on..
--- Then the capitalist will come in and say, it's about the money, and we're rich.. Wh000tt
But look at it this way...
You, the customer, waste your time, working, to buy yet another iteration of a tool (keyboard) that you already own.
Now to fill this continuous wasteful demand, the Capitalist has to work to build the keyboard to sell to you..
IN THE END, EVERYONE, Including Both the Customer and the Capitalist has to WORK towards fulfilling a POINTLESS endeavor..
That feel when we came to talk about video games and the steam sale and now we understand that life isn't worth living. ty tp4 :p
Life as a whole can be viewed as a pointless endeavour. So I say engage in hedonism while you still can enjoy it.

Bought Hitman and Soma. Should be good.**** I have Hitman too I just haven't installed and played it. Might be something to do over the weekend.
Really want Darius Burst CS but the price still seems kind of steep, anyone play it?
It's a 60 gig download or something, you might want to start it xD . I've played the tutorials and the first mission and I should say it's pretty legit so far! Absolute tons of crutches for the novice players but you can switch everything off.Bought Hitman and Soma. Should be good.**** I have Hitman too I just haven't installed and played it. People who made Nier = Pervs.. hahahahahaha.. they knew exactly what they were doing... exactly...Why does everything Japanese involve underage schoolgirls and scant clothing? xD

Sweet I prefer that authentic Hitman experience where you feel accomplishment from doing it the professional way. :DIt's a 60 gig download or something, you might want to start it xD . I would HIGHLY recommend picking up the Just Cause pack. Comes with Just Cause 1 2 AND 3 as well as ALL THE DLC for Just Cause 3 for only 7.99
It is a freaking steal - even if you own the game it's still cheaper getting that then buying all the dlc seapertly.
Very good game, I guarantee you will have a ton of fun ****ing around in 3
edit - my mistake, it's $25 (it was shown as less because I own 3 and 2 already)

Just Cause 3 is like playing GTA V with a bunch of mods. I spend hours just flying around just doing whatever, I've hardly played the actual game missions at all to be honest. Just gliding taking in the scenery calmly, or ****ing with cities and bases doing crazy stunts or seeing what the physics will allow me to do.
here's a random video of someone just having fun

My wishlist has 46 items on sale. That's pretty much the whole list. It's terribly tempting.
I ended up picking up ALL of the Euro Truck Sim 2 DLC I didn't have.
What the hell?. All the skin packs were like $.50! I think I spent about $25 in little DLC. Good for them, I like to support small devs with reasonably priced DLC. I become a completionist when they are that cheap. I have a disease. I need help!
Gabe wins again!
Wow, I loved Kingdom Rush on mobile... would have missed this 100% if not for your recommendation. Thank you
