I am curious as to what switches this keyboard has:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BSI-1011640-Vintage-Mechanical-Clicky-Space-Saver-Keyboard-Black-DIN-AT/382138243906?_trksid=p2059210.c100148.m2813&_trkparms=ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140127102845%26meid%3Db9cebdcf372c433abda398593424d6e1%26pid%3D100148%26
[Edit] That sold very fast. I bought 1 of the 2 though so I can update this post when it arrives.

Hmm, an AT connector and Windows keys—that's something you don't often see.
I'm guessing MX Blacks. It'll be interesting to find out!

"My instincts tell me it's simplified Alps or clones given the font, the lateness of the design (Win 95 icon), and the tendency for compact layouts like that to be Alpsy."
I suspect Alps as well because of the font.

A new concept: Alpsiness.

I just got this in the mail today. It is a very clean keyboard. There appears to be no dust at all and is a great typing keyboard. This keyboard has what I believe to be white Alps switches but am not an expert on Alps switches. I am not sure if there are clones that look similar. The case feels really light and feels kinda of cheap. It is very portable which is nice. I used a soarer's XT adapter to connect it but standard adapters should work just fine.
[Update] After some sleuthing with the help of members here and at DT I now believe this keyboard went to a Prism N5 portable or similar BSI branded portable computer. The switches likely are Forward SKBM White "simplified Alps".
