Title: [IC]Mechmini 2 & GMK 1983 - Prototype Lands 5 Days

Cases and PCB's are under production right now. We were moderately successful. About 80 orders, so to the few of you thanks for supporting myself and my vision for this 40% If there is one good thing to take home from this, it's the feeling of envisioning and producing and making an idea become a product and a reality. Anyways, a rough estimate on production end - I'm going to say end of september - please, accept this with a grain of salt. It could come sooner, or it could come later.

As far as GMK1983 goes, still grinding on it in my spare time. Have been learning how to do my own 3D modelling and renders so that I can produce an excellent info package and illustrations for the next and final IC. I have no eta on this set launching at this time.

Hey Geekhacker's.

My apologies for not frequenting this place as much as I probably should. However, I am here and looking to make a change to that.

This is a pet project I've been working on since roughly February of this year, the Mechmini 2.

I'm sure most have heard of it - but I know there is some who haven't, and for that here are the details.

-QMK
-RGB SMD Underglow
-Ortho Plate
-Staggered Plate
-CNC Milled & Anodized aluminum high profile case with polycarbonate base to diffuse RGB underglow
-PCB is drilled to accept both staggered and ortho layouts.

The kit will ship with
-PCB
-Cherry PCB Genuine stabs
-1x Ortho plate
-1x Staggered plate
-Case
-Hardware for assembly

1983 I'd buy. If I'm not out of money when it drops lol.

40% takes a while to get used to - and it is quite overwhelming on your first experience. However - if you want to try a CHEAP 40%, I've got pre-orders live of the mechmini 1 for about 100CAD - full kit including stabilizers. Give it a try before spending big money.

Thank you - and yes everything seems to be flowing nicely. I'm at the point now where it's all exposure that I need to work on. Waiting for pictures of the case with the anodizing from the factory.

On the website - assembly will be an option 100% however it will be a 7 to 14 day fulfillment process - as like last time, I will be shipping unassembled kits priority.

Yes. They are the V1 layered acrylic case with the new mechmini 2 QMK pcb.

I have estimates, but if I start saying what those are all over the place people will expect it - so I'd rather have the keyboard in my hands, know the factory does good work and have some accurate true pricing.

The prototype arrived today and I built it. And it's pretty awesome. The anodizing finish seems to be really good, the machine work is pretty good and it functions exactly as I hoped it to. I'm in love.
