Title: So much Clothes
Post by: tp4tissue on Sun, 23 July 2017, 06:58:01
Summer = Hot..

Yet,  sometimes on the streets you got a guy in a suit, and he doesn't seem to be sweating.

Then on documentaries of africa.. you got these dudes in long pants and shirt.. no sweat..

How are they doing this.. !!

Tp4 sweat in t-shirt + shorts.

The amount you sweat is relative to your body mass: fat or muscle makes no difference.
My guess is that the people you saw were thin-boned and quite scrawny.

It also helps to use lofty garments of thin fabric made from natural fibres. Suits come in different thicknesses.

Like Findecanor said, fabric matters.

I think the people who are crazy enough to wear a suit in really hot weather are pretty conscious of this and sort of amble about instead of rushing everywhere like regular people.

Your body adapts. If you work outside in the sun (and realize the health advantage of covering yourself with clothes) it takes 3 days to a week of sweating profusely before your body realizes that sweating does not cool you down anymore, and starts tapering down the amount you sweat. Of course, it also depends on other health conditions.
