Can you actually use a selectric for anything useful these days? A friend of mine said he found one sitting in a box ready to be thrown away. It probably has been by now.

It would be cool if you could mount a membrane on it and turn it into a digital keyboard. It could be called, "it's electric", or " s' electric".

OT: Ripster, do you ever take your wife on vacation?  You always reference your son but never your wife when talking about trips/vacation.  I always picture her stuck at home lighting pictures of you on fire wishing she married the quarterback in high school.
