Title: My Ideal layout
Post by: irad on Sun, 30 July 2017, 03:55:42
This is my Ideal layout for a keyboard...
Which Mechanical keyboard with similar layout and Cherry Mx switches should I buy?

There's two problems with this layout:

1. Doing arrow keys like that is impossible with Cherry MX, as they are too big and must occupy at least the space of a 1x1 key (e.g. any letter).
2. Keyboards in this size but without the topmost row are usually known as 60% and are pretty common. Ones with the topmost function row are sometimes called 70%, but are generally pretty uncommon.

I suggest looking at kbd75 (a bit larger) or XD60 (a bit smaller)
