I've been using a new Unicomp Spacesaver M for several months and my biggest gripe is the flimsy plastic case. The keycaps, buckling springs, layout, ergonomics... They're all pretty good as far as I'm concerned. But the case is the super-weak link IMO. Blemishes, creaks, cheap plastics, hollow sound... It's a shame, really. Does anyone know if a GB custom case has been attempted for a Unicomp? I wonder what it would sound and feel like with an aluminum case?
