Hey guys,
I'm looking for a Mechanical Keyboard with the following features:
- ISO 105 keys
- minimal design
- preferably quiet switches
- (brightness adjustable) backlighting
- pref. 6 programmable/marco keys
- media keys
I might ditch the last two points and get a macropad instead.
Plus I'm looking for caps where I can decide what's printed on.
Something like US+DE layout in combination and some custom things.
Should be used for video editing and motion graphics.
As I'm pretty new to the scene, I appreciate any recommendations!

I like the looks of the 'Vortex KBC poker 3'.
Maybe someone could give me a hint for an ISO 105 keyboard with the looks of the poker3.

Have found the iKBC MF108 and the Varmilo VA109M.
I might go with one of those with brown switches.
Does anyone know of an EU-reseller for the iKBC MF?

I do a whole lot of video editing using Adobe Premiere several times a week, almost every week. I've been fine using a 75% and at some points a 60%.
I'd recommend stuff from Coolermaster.

Same here on all accounts. I've been using a 75% which gets the job done for but OP wanting media keys and other such items, a Coolermaster or perhaps even certain Duckys (I think some have media keys) could work. I have the CM Pro S but the Pro M sounds like it could work for him.

It's not only video editing but also animation in After Effects and C4D.
There are some essential short-cuts mapped to the '0' and '.' on the numblock in After Effects.
That's why I need to train my muscle memory in the right way because I'm often working on site (not on my keyboard).
But I'm actually thinking of getting a macropad instead of the numblock and a TKL.
Map the mediakeys to the macropad + the essential shortcuts and put it right where the num block should be when working.
Any awesome floating TKL I should check out? =P

If you use something like avid, then go for an avid keyboard.
why would you need a special mechanical keyboard for videoedting? are those shortcuts exceeding 90WPM? :p

The IKBC MF-108 is not sold in Europe currently as far as I am aware. Mykeyboard.eu sell the tenkeyless version, but that doesn't fit your needs.
Take a look at the Varmilo VA109M, it's available from German online store CandyKeys: https://www.candykeys.com/product/varmilo-va109m/

I think best might be to print decals on decal paper to put on the front of the keys. That way, the custom legends will not interfere with key feel.
There are different sticky decal papers for ink-jet and laser printers - but the very best result (and most difficult to apply...) may be accomplished with waterslide decal paper you can get from a hobby store that sells supplies for building plastic model kits.
There are two-piece "relegendable (https://deskthority.net/wiki/Relegendable_key)" keys, with a clear top under which you can stick a paper label.
However, these are often available only in a single row-profile and often completely flat on top - making them somewhat awkward to type on.
Best might be Signature Plastics' DCS relegendable (https://pimpmykeyboard.com/dcs-relegendables-pack-of-10/) that are actually dished and with legend also in front.
These should be fairly close in height to the function key row of Varmilo ...
Relegendable caps are otherwise most often used on Point-Of-Sale systems - i.e. cash registers, and I think most such keys that people actually have were taken off cash register keyboards they got on the second-hand market.

I just received my custom Avid keyboard from WASD, and I love it. I designed all of the legends in Illustrator, and uploaded it through the product page.

I got the V2, but since you want backlighting, you could probably get their CODE keyboard with MX clears (versus Green, which are loud/clicky). WASD's boards have a Mac mode, which swaps command and option, and you can set the rest of your keys with Karabiner.

Nope, because it's more like 70% motion graphics and 30% plain editing.

I finally went with Varmilo VA108M and I'm super happy with it!

Teran from Linus Tech Tips made a video about his keyboards, he has them do crazy macros and everything.

A green axis keyboard is recommended, and the crisp sound keeps you awake.
