Jūbi is a 60esque board with xt/at inspired fkeys on the left.
-Top mounted plate
-6 Degree angle
-USB C
Lemme know what you think of the layout
Standard top layouts

Blocker top layouts (only bottom row differs)

2D case render
Case is currently being finalized and post will be updated soon!

Looks great! I'll take one

Nice, but have the hhkb style bottom row offset with 6U spacebar :)

I think stabs would be too hard to find, plus spacebar support.

Yea, but when already manufacturing a new board one could have some 6u wires bent for that occasion ;)
But I understand your point

I think in a situation like this, where there's more keys on the board, WKL looks better than HHKB.

Both layouts are great to me.

I can't do a massive spacebar like that, but it's an interesting layout. Would the split backspace also support a 2u key?
Can't wait to get more left-f key boards into the wild! I'm happy that you're also going the 60% route and not 65% :)

The spacebar is 7u, would you rather it be split or something alone those lines? Also I'll be updating the thread later today with the planned compatibility; including 2u backspace, iso, etc.

I've been using a split space on my board recently and I love it: http://i.imgur.com/tRmAhlq.jpg
I'm interested to see where this goes :)

Updated layout support.

Can the spacebar also support 2.25 / 2 / 2.75 or 2.75 / 2 / 2.25?

I tried the 2u in the middle and wasn't a fan. I messed with the spacebar layout again, check op.

That's better for sure. I just don't like the 1u under my left thumb when I'm gaming.

Yea I can see that. I'm using a 40 with a split space atm, but I havn't seen any 7u split spaces around.

Would buy in a heartbeat but I need 6.25u space support.
Loving an alternative to the RS78 though.

This is awesome, Kafka! I liked both versions, to be honest. Not sure if you'd be able to offer different tops, but regardless the Winkeyless is pretty awesome. I love it. :thumb:

Happy that you're going with the wkl but sad because now I want one.
I don't know what your plans for a case are but if you need any assistance, shoot me a PM.

I love your Kona classic, but I'm gonna have to hold out for a high profile case. I don't wish to go back to low-profile.
Although I might still be picking up one as gift for my friend who does like low profile and wants extra macro keys like me :p

Added images for reference

I love the wkl look! I need this!

This is a nice one, definitely interested in both HHKB and WKL version

This might be crazy, but just looking at this design from a productivity point of view what about a third row on the left side there? That way it could be a numbpad (of sorts) if people wanted. Just my thought :thumb:

Any progress?

I'm broke so the longer you are busy the more likely I will get a chance to grab one of these.

I'm down this looks amazing.

Kinda like a RS78 but without the extra right hand column and WKL blockers instead (I built a RS78 last year with OG Cherry left hand F keys). Could be pretty nice methinks. Any pictures of the bottom?

Will this support iso? I'll probably buy 7 if so.

Stepped iso!
but for real no, no iso

no pencil **** blockers pls
WKL or no blockers

wkl blockers look huge on a 60 imo, too jarring

Any chance of arrow keys?

Any chance of arrow keys?
Sorry but likely not, I've designed this layout mostly by my personal needs/wants. If you really need dedicated keys over an fn layer the Kmac Mini is very similar to this layout but a 65%, so you could try and hunt that down(:

Is this IC still being worked on?
-
not split space bar?
