Title: EliteKeyboards Happy Hacking Pro Keyboard Roof (cover)
Post by: Eugene94 on Sun, 20 August 2017, 12:33:26
Has anyone tried this cover out?

I am wondering if when traveling this cover would be necessary (to prevent any damage from the keys being compressed too hard?) perhaps the cover also has other uses like keeping dust out that will eventually lead to the keys getting stuck, I don't know...

Are there any real benefits to having this cover?

I think that is more for keeping dust out when you just leave your keyboard on your desk. You can probably also use it for traveling, but I think you'll need something to secure it to your keyboard.

I use one with some electrical tape to hold it in place when i need to cram my Pro2 in a bag for travel. works wonders

Does it clip on or just sit on top?

it just sits on top.
does not clip onto anything.
the design could be better. but its not horrible.

A keyboard bag might be better for travelling - quicker and easier to get the keyboard in and out.

I use a tea towel on my keyboards when not in use.  Simple, effective, cheap.
